The Southern Philanthropy Consortium

The Southern Philanthropy Consortium is a collective endeavor to increase philanthropic support for rural and other underserved communities in the South. Its partners are:

  • The Southeastern Council of Foundations, a 355-member association of grantmakers in 12 Southeastern states;
  • The Southern Rural Development Inititative, a 34-member collaborative of community-based development organizations that build rural development capacity and capital across the South; and
  • The Mid South Collaborative to Build Philanthropy, an association of private, corporate and community foundations working to increase philanthropic assets in Arkansas, Louisiana and Mississippi. The Collaborative is administered by the Foundation for the Mid South.
